ReadFinePrint1When we were traveling through the Middle East we saw some pretty amazing signs.  We were pretty sure the store owners were counting on potential buyers who were not interested in reading the fine print or who did not have a very good understanding of english.

For those of us who understood english but were new to Arabic there was another dilemma.  In the Middle East they use a different numbering where a 5 would look like an egg shaped Zero and a Zero was represented by a dot.  So when we were passing by stores during the big sales there were be large signs in Arabic with 0.% off!  Sort of hard to get excited about that.
