I’m making my list what to take on a 12-hour or so flight with an almost 2-year-old toddler. I’m slightly anxious about this journey, during which I expect he will be awake most of the time. This is a toddler with the attention span of a goldfish. Here’s what I have thought of or found from research to carry on the plane so far. PLEASE help me add to it!
- Electronics (iPad, portable DVD player, 2 laptops)
- Books
- Stickers, paper, crayons
- Snacks (suckers, veg and fruit…)
- A few small surprise toys (playdoh, windups, etc)
- Small or blow-up ball for layovers.
Of course there are other things like extra diapers and clothes, lovies and such. But this list seems way too short – I’d especially appreciate advice on attention-grabbing activities.
