Last week Kosherfest 2011 brought Kosher food brands, cookbook authors, and food bloggers to the New York area for a Kosherfest! The night before the largest expo of Kosher food began, I helped organize a special Social Media Eat, Greet, Meet, and Tweet at Solo. This event was a lot of fun to plan with my friends Lois Held and Roberta Scher from the very popular Kosher food blog, Koshereye. It was my first time at Solo, located in the Sony Atrium building at 550 Madison Avenue. Solo features exotic New American cuisine with Mediterrnean and Asian influences. The best part of this culinary experience is that it is completely Kosher!
If you are looking for a place to have intimate dinner with your partner, or you need to plan a business meeting, you should consider Solo. Check out their full menu, specials, and more at http://www.primekony.com.
The restaurant, which was designed by Eddie jacobs features a tranquil atmosphere that caters to a variety of diners needs ranging from private business meetings to special occasion lunches and dinners. We were a party of 26 and Solo had us in our very own private room. The menu was set in advance and I absolutely enjoyed every, single, bite! As a very busy mom of 3 kids, dining out at fine restaurants like Solo does not happen. The food that I ate that evening included: Big Eye Tuna Tarter, Crispy Veal Sweetreads, Pan Seared Black Angus Filet, and Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert. This is a meal to remember!! We were also served Champagne, Carte d'Or. It was lovely!
