Shopping in Las Vegas can be quite overwhelming with practically a mall in every hotel and casino. I'm often asked where my favorite places to shop are, with or without the kids. Here are my Top 3 picks from a local's perspective:
The Fashion Show Mall has so much to offer both locals and tourists. As a free standing building it provides more access points which makes it easier to navigate. There's a little bit of everything here from mid-range to couture and kids to adults. Favorite stores include
Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, lululemon athletica, TopShop and Free People. Not to mention, delicious food options with local favorites like Grimaldi's Wood-Fired Pizza, Nordstroms Cafe and Capitol Grill.
The Forum Shops at Caesar' Palace is an empire in itself. Though massive, there is so much to choose from, with entertaining fountain shows and lots of people watching! Amazing restaurants like Joe's Stone Crab and BOA Steak House and fabulous shopping from British imports Ted Baker, and US favorite, Anthropologie. Of course, you can also window shop at Versace and Dior, to name a few. Make sure you download this awesome app from
Simon Malls to help navigate you through the monstrosity of the Forum Shops.
The Premium Outlets in Downtown Las Vegas is in a prime location. Not too far off the Strip, but definitely a cab ride away, you will find this outdoor mall full of great deals from brands you love, with something for everyone. The wonderful thing about the location of thePremium Outlets is that it puts you smack dab in the middle of the hip and happening Downtown area. You will get to witness some pretty amazing architecture like
The Smith Center, The Larry Ruvo Brain Institute and the World Market Center. It's worth the trip just for the play space!
