Just minutes from one of Colorado’s favorite, family-friendly resorts – Winter Park – you can experience even more heart-pumping fun at Colorado Adventure Park. As Grand County's newest, fastest, largest and safest adventure park, you’ll find activities the whole family can enjoy together, from the youngest to the young at heart.

What’s more fun than zooming down a tubing hill with your kid in a tube made for two? Tubing with three! Our little, first-time tuber, Reagan, alternated between my husband’s lap and mine on each trip down the hill, and from the front tube to the back. Or, you can hook two or more tubes together. For an even more exciting trip down any of the four hills graded green to black, try an aerodynamic airboard, which goes twice as fast. And when you get to the bottom, know that going back up can be done with ease because of the magic carpet conveyer lift. Reagan never had to get out of her tube once, except to change laps. Single tubing is $32/hr with half-off the second hour, and double tubing $32/hr. Little ones under three, sled for free!

If your kids have an even greater need for speed, ages six and up can race Snow Scoots around a groomed track under continual supervision. Price: $10 for 10 minutes.

An all-new terrain park opened just this month for those who want to spend the day (or night) doing tricks without the expense of a lift ticket at the resort. The terrain park is $15 for a 4-hour session or $100 for a 10-session punch pass.

At the end of your adventure-filled day, relax with a sandwich and a beer or glass of wine in the handicap-accessible warming hut with free WIFI. Or, sip hot cocoa and toast marshmallows around a campfire. S’mores kits are also available.

Colorado Adventure Park is open from 10am – 10pm, October 1^st – April 18^th, pending snow conditions. Stadium lighting keeps the fun going all night!
