It is one of the most popular attractions in this area and you understand why at first glance.The classic architecture melded with the modern lifestyle on the streets is both impressive and beautiful. Add in the salty air, the beach go-ers and at least a dozen well-tanned residents roller blading down the windy boardwalk and you feel the vibe of Miami Beach.
   
2. Heading west from the city and you’ll encounter the infamous river of grass. Far different than Miami Beach, the Everglades is a beautiful National Park of wildlife and environmental wonder. Once the fear of crocodiles subsides, a visitor can enjoy an airboat ride that provides a tour of the park and will be in amazement with the complexity of the environment. You see the environment through different lenses as you truly feel so separated from the rest of Miami in the middle of park.
   
3. Returning to the city from the Everglades, you yearn to see the water again. The view from the impressive view from the Deering Estate in Cutler Bay, will have you wondering why hadn’t you find more time to peruse the estate and admire the grounds and the scenery.  Just 20-30 minutes south of Miami Beach, the Deering Estate offers a historian quality stories of the life of Miamians from early last century. It offers an artist the chance to see and learn from the artists in residence and the remarkable works of art on display. The environmentalist will be in wonder through the nature walk and mangrove.
