If you’re looking for a great family travel destination, San Antonio, Texas is a great place for kids. Splashtown is a water park that is tons of fun for all ages. It is just the right size to do everything without (mom and dad) getting too tired.
The staff are friendly and patient though safety is enforced. We tried a pizza for lunch, which was surprisingly large and not greasy.
The rates are reasonable (seniors and babies are free), and if you’re staying any length of time, or live there, the season pass (at $39.99/person for a group of four or more) is an amazing deal. We will get one if we spend another summer here for sure!
