Islets-of-granadaGranada is considered one of the most beautiful locations to visit while traveling to Nicaragua. It's the last colonial city dating back to when the Spaniards arrived and settled here. It's been preserved with the colorfulness it once did from when it was the capital.

But that's not the main attraction! The 365 islets that are off the coasts of this little gem is what really beckons the families. Each island is tiny with it's own character. Over 25,000 years ago the neighboring volcano went book and created these islands which now have some of the most luxurious mansions and restaurants. But you can also visit monkey island and a fort that the pirates once used to protect the area.
