I'd also suggest ArtQuest at The Frist. Kids up to 18 are free and adults are $10. There are 30 art stations where you can build your own digital art portfolio on a plastic ArtQuest ID and lanyard. This place was my kids' (ages 12-14) favorite place in Nashville. The always changing art exhibits and the unique gift shop were icing on the cake! http://www.fristcenter.org/site/artquest/
