Jenny Lin currently lives in Beijing with her twin “made-in-China” primary school boys, a “born in the USA” preschooler and her Chinese husband. She grew up as a missionary kid, born in Nepal, living in Mexico and then moving frequently around the United States. This gave her the travel bug that led her to China after completing a Master of Science in Journalism. There she met her husband, worked as an editor for the government media and moved back to the US in 2005 with twins in her belly. After five years of adventures that most recently included teaching writing to felons and giving birth again, she and her family are back in Beijing to work and immerse the kids in their other culture. Apart from China, Jenny’s travels have taken her to work in Belgium and to write for The Associated Press in Paris. Her writing has appeared in a wide variety of media.
