Cindy RichardsCindy Richards is a Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist who serves as Editor-in-Chief for TravelingMom.com. She previously worked at Chicago’s two major newspapers, 15 years for the Chicago Sun-Times and two years for the Chicago Tribune. She found her passion for travel writer when she was an editor for the award-winning regional magazine, Chicago Parent. She has taught journalism in the graduate program at Northwestern University’s prestigious Medill School of Journalism.

In addition to writing the TravelingMom with Teens blog for TravelingMom, Cindy blogs at Wyndham’s Women on Their Way. She is the happily married mom of two well-traveled teens who rarely have time to travel with her anymore.

Lara-DipaolaLara DiPaola is the Director of Partner Relations for TravelingMom.com and also serves as Director of Marketing for a D.C. -based national daily deal site. Receiving her first award for writing at the tender age of 9, Lara has had a lifelong passion for the written word. Spending her early 20s living in a small town in southern Spain sparked an unquenchable wanderlust.

Joining the TravelingMom team has brought these two passions together for Lara. She is a mom of four, who carves out as much time as she can for her writing which includes penning the “10 Best Washington DC” series for Travel Media Group at USA Today, her personal blog Chicken Nuggets of Wisdom, writing for TravelingMom as “Deals Traveling Mom” and hitting the road as a contributor at SheBuysCars.com.
